You know we love the corner of 900 South and 900 East in Salt Lake City. They’re always up to something fun! Every year they host an Art Walk that attracts huge numbers, and on a regular you'll find so many unique and delicious restaurants to check out. Good coffee too! We wrote more about the charming corner here, you should definitely check it out!

This Saturday, September 17th they're hosting the annual 9th and 9th Street Festival! This corner is always full of happy community members, but the street fair attracts even more friendly crowds! Rumor has it, this festival will be their best party yet. Furry friends and kiddos included! This street fair is somewhat of a celebration, to come together and rejoice in your community! That’s why it’s thrown by people who actually live in the area. Their motto is, “an event thrown for neighbors, by neighbors!”

The event is free, but don’t forget your wallets or your empty stomachs! There is a huge variety of vendors ready to feed you. Cupbop is one of our favorite food trucks in Utah. They serve Korean Barbecue in their signature black cups, I’m sure you’ve seen them around. Our favorite part about Cupbop? They don’t skimp out on the servings! The cups are filled to the brim with delicious ingredients like noodles, kimchi, rice, beef, dumplings and more. You can’t forget their delicious sauces!

In the mood for something more cheesy? Satisfy your Italian cravings by checking out Mount Nebo Pizza. After so many wonderful pizza places have gained popularity, it’s basic knowledge that authentic Italian pizzas cooked in wood fired ovens is where it’s at. But what about those moments where you want a wood fired pizza but don’t have time for a sit down restaurant? Enter Mount Nebo. This food truck serves some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. They make all their dough within 24 hours of serving, and all ingredients are fresh.

Now time for dessert! We’ve been dying to try Wasatch Creamery! These local ice cream makers produce over unique and delicious 40 flavors! Each batch is small, and only sold at farmers markets and local stands. This alone might be a reason to check out the 9th and 9th Street Fair! Every flavor is all natural with no preservatives or artificial flavors. Enjoy classic flavors like peach, mint chip, vanilla bean, and cookies and cream. Or try something new like salted oreo, strawberry balsamic, or captain crunch with crunch berries! We’re hoping to try that salted oreo, but we also feel we should take advantage of peach season and try that flavor too. Guess we’ll have to try a couple flavors! Oh, they’ve also partnered with Auntie Em’s cookies in Park City to sandwich their ice cream between two homemade cookies. Sign us up!

These are only a handful of the delicious and exciting vendors that will be at the festival. Are you coming for the entertainment? Then you should prepare to be entertained! Enjoy incredible dance performances by Millennium, live music (including jazz!), and even a doggy fashion show! We told you your furry friend would love the festival!

If you have children (that aren’t your dogs), make sure to bring them too! A children's play area is included, and it’s a good one. Your kiddos can enjoy face painting, poster making, chalk art, and bean bag tossing. There’s also new activities every hour! And just a friendly reminder… admission is free! You don’t want to miss out on this wonderful opportunity!
